Fashion and Creativity Summer School

The Department for Life Quality Studies (QuVi) of the University of Bologna (Rimini Campus) in partnership with the Department of Management (University of Bologna) and UniRimini spa, is happy to present you our Summer School in Fashion and Creativity.

The Summer School will take place from the 23rd to the 27th of June 2014 in the premises of Rimini Campus (Bologna University), where the Fashion-related courses have been hosted since 1997 (Bachelor Degree Course in Fashion Cultures and Techniques and the Master's Degree in Fashion).

The Summer School aims at tackling the analysis of Fashion with a multidisciplinary approach, having as its starting point the scientific and didactic experiences of the researchers of the University of Bologna on Fashion-related studies.

Italian and international scholars and practitioners will interact to cover  the key features in the field of Fashion, as well as the synergies between Fashion and Creativity, with a special focus on the relationship between fashion and design, aesthetics and culture, creativity in social fields. In particular, the Summer School’s program will be articulated around the following three main themes: fashion culture, fashion and design, and creativity in social science.

A full day will be devoted to the workshop of a Senior Designer from Aeffe Group, the leading Italian fashion company founded by Alberta Ferretti.
