Helsinki Summer School 2013

Helsinki Summer School is a three-week academic event organised every August by University of Helsinki, Aalto University and Hanken School of Economics. Each year we give advanced degree students from over 60 countries an unforgettable experience that combines high quality academics with a wide range of cultural and social activities. Our multidisciplinary courses, all of which are taught in English, aim at stimulating thought and intellectual development in an open and diverse environment. At Helsinki Summer School, the rich academic, cultural and social resources of this vibrant city all become part of the classroom experience.

This summer we will be offering seventeen fully credited courses covering a wide range of academic fields - from Cognitive Neuroscience to The Welfare City and from Politics of Nations to Representation of Curves and Surfaces. All of our courses are designed to challenge and inspire you in any field that holds your interest. Finland is one of the most research-intensive and academically competitive countries in the world.
