International Scientific Conference Knowledge for Market Use

Since 2006, the Department of Applied Economics has organized an International Scientific Conference entitled Knowledge for Market Use every year.

Knowledge is the key element to economic competitiveness. The purpose of the conference is to present the current development of knowledge management and its impact on the field of management, marketing, financial management, and other fields of knowledge economics.

The Proceedings of Knowledge for Market Use 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016 have been indexed by Web of Science.

Supporting the conference activities of students

To support the activities of its students, DAE gives them a chance to present their research results at the student panel of the conference Knowledge for Market Use or at the Student Science Conference. Students can participate actively or as audience, and are given the possibility to contribute to the conference collection. These activities are included in the study programme as optional (type B) courses (abbreviated KAE/ZTPA, ZTPB, ZTPC a ZTPD).
